Middle Mouse is Aleks Manou – a Sydney-based 2d animator, film editor and everything-in-betweener. A generalist in post-production, he has a passion for narrative, characters, animation and film and uses his experience to bring fresh ideas to briefs.
Working with some of the best directors, creatives and clients that Australia has to offer, his animations and films have featured throughout the advertising marketplace from the smallest social posts to the biggest displays in the country.
Three years, thirty artists and 3,221 frames later, Andrew Huang released this music video for his song, Every Night I Dream Of Dancing. I was privileged enough to be able to work on it in 2014 and again in 2016 to help finish it off. I did over 150 frames (12-13 seconds) which can be seen in gif form below.
